Don’t stay indifferent, Stop violence

Our students took part in training under the motto "Violence is like smoking - it kills" with funded by the EU's "European Solidarity Corps".

It was held in 4 informal meetings focused on the topics following:

• What makes bullies bully. Realizing why they do it and how their strength is actually a weakness.
• Reaction to violence and negative attacks. How best to respond when someone attacks or provokes us.
• How psychology, informal methods, sports, art, literature and hobbies can help us overcome bullying and violence.
• Activities related to the transformation of negative experience and turning it into positive results.
• Developing self-esteem, confidence and self-belief.

The children, who are also informal leaders of their classmates, played role-playing games to practice what they had learned. The idea is that with the help of the acquired skills, they can reduce the tension in their class in situations of aggression and be an example for their classmates.
